And Family..

Ray Charles was larger than life on the campus of Miss State. My thoughts and prayer are with the family. God Bless you.

May the family of Ray Charles Costic find comfort and strength in knowing that Ray Costic gave us pride, as students at State, during his era, to witness him doing what he loved. He will be remembered as one of the best ever to play linebacker at MSU and even a better man in life.

I went to Mississippi State with Ray, he was a good friend and a really nice, humble person. I am sadden to hear of his passing. My heartfelt condolences to the Costic family. Arlene Walton - Vicksburg, MS

Ray was a friend at MSU. Being from the coast also, he was surprised that I'd never heard of him! I remember him coming to our apartment to have his hair braided. Such a big difference from the intimidating man on the football field. My prayers are extended to the family he so loved.

As a Pascagoula native I admired Ray as player at Moss Point and had a short time with him as sophomore at PHS.

I was at State with him and has lived along with me and many friends as one of the best to ever wear maroon. You should be very proud of his leagacy. God Blees. Stevens Hollister
