Of all of the artists that have painted western desert scenes, Ray Dudley is one of the very best. Ray was also very good in painting portraits. He won many ribbons for his paintings, and won first place for a painting submitted to the Utah State Fair. In addition to his painting talents, Ray had many other great talents and attributes. He was a very kind and considerate person. In the many years that I new Ray, he always seemed to be happy and upbeat. Ray, your talent and life will...

Ray became one of my friends while I served in the St. Joseph's Branch of the LDS church. Ray was a remarkable man who would make me laugh, think and he asked great questions. Ray talked a lot about his family and his friends in St. Louis. Today while I was at St. Joseph's several residents and staff members commented to me about how much Ray will be missed. Thanks for your friendship Ray.

I ENJOYED HIS WIT AND CHARMING, OUTGOING PERSONALITY. HOWEVER, SUFFERING WITH PAINS OF AGING, WAS HARD FOR RAY, AND I AM THANKFUL HE WAS...
