Not sure what to say?

Ray was one of my best friends. He was such a good, good man. Always full of song and laughter. I miss him so very often. I miss his wonderful smile, his infectious laughter and his warm hugs. I miss him at our holiday table. Rest In Peace my dear friend, Rest In Peace.

David,
I'm sorry for your loss. Though your Dad certainly led a great and fulfilling life, I know from personal experience that there is never a good or acceptable time to lose such a positive and loving influence from one's own life.
Kathy and I are looking forward to seeing and catching up with you and Cindy in a few weeks in Huntsville @ the HHS Reunion.

Ray Farmer will be remembered by me for several reasons... He led by example and always with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye! We did not agree on our college football teams but he always had great hope each year for his Orange and White Rocky Top Team. I will miss his kindness, his wisdom and his love for volunteering.

Ray and I grew up in Whitwell, We have lost a great person. I am so sorry.

I knew Ray from my time at Dynetics. I never knew him to be anything but friendly, kind, and supportive. A true gentleman who I know will be greatly missed.

Although I saw him infrequently after first meeting him in 1972, he and I would always stop and chat when we ran into each other. Such a sweet man!

David,
I always enjoyed visiting with your dad whenever we ran in to each other. He was so very proud of you and loved to tell it. So sorry for your loss.

My deepest condolences to your family during this most difficult time. There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so beloved. May you find comfort and peace in knowing that your loved one is in God's memory, because those who pass on are precious in his eyes. Psalms 116:15.

Served with Ray in A SHL. Such a nice person. This came as a shock to me, did not know he was ill .. Prayers for his family.
