God Bless

A beautiful soul with a bone-crushing handshake.

Ray, you’re a classy fella! Watching your playing days highlights and then Listening to your broadcasts showed how classy & unbiased you called those plays, no one will ever equal your stature.
Ben,
Oakland A’s fan

My sincere condolences to Carol & the girls. I’ve known Ray for over 30 years as I worked for his CPA in Hayward. Ray always had a smile on his face & blessed us with tickets to games whenever I asked. This is a great loss to all including myself. RIP Ray!❤

Among my greatest heroes, Ray was personable and generous throughout his life. His love of baseball connected my children to the game like I never could.

RIP Ray.

Ray was wonderful guy, very funny. He was also one hell of a catcher. I worked with Ray when he was the National Sales Manager of All Star gloves in the Sporting goods industry. He traveled with me through out Texas as well as trade shows, He was great to work with and my customers loved him, They all had to try on his Huge Green World Series Ring, and he did not mind. God bless him and his family.

I had the privilege of meeting Ray. He was a wonderful human being, whom I admired a great deal. I meet him for the first time back in 2017, while working with Indians. I told him how much my grandpa enjoyed watching him play for the Indians. I watched him several times on Direct TV, broadcasting his beloved Athletics. He was so articulate and so enjoyable to listen to. He was so humble and gracious. He was such a pleasure to chat with. Thanks Ray for being who you were and for...

My sincerest condolences. May God sustain the family at this most critical time.
