We remember "Uncle Ray" our SI neighbor and send our sincere condolences to all the family. Our kids didn't know him by any other name except Uncle Ray. We had exchanged so many conversations with our next door neighbor and are so grateful to have known him.

My father also served on the "Mighty Monty" during Pearl Harbor. (James M. Battcock). In 2019 I entered the National Veterans Day poster contest and won. Pictured in the poster is the secret journal my Father kept during WWII. I Salute you Mr. Golterman and may you RIP. God bless you and all of our Veterans.
