Not sure what to say?

A great teacher, she helped me become a better person and a better nurse.

You will be sorely missed Dr. Ray but your legacy lives on in those you helped and trained as they continue to give...truly a "Rock" and a "Shining Star"...God Bless You

Dr. Ray was a Great mentor, teacher and will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to meet her.

Dr. Ray, Your death is a big loss to the school of nursing. You are very knowledgeable. You made a great impact to my nursing career, i can still hear your strong voice in that auditorium at TVCC trying to make us understand. Thanks again Dr. Ray, you shall be greatly missed. Adieu, and may your soul rest in perfect peace.

I never knew about this until lately. Tears are rolling down my cheeks as I write this, but it was a privilege for me to have met you for such a short time in my nursing school. I took my NCLEX last week, and I could hear your voice in my head on how to answer those questions. I feel so heartbroken because of this news, but I know that the good Lord knows best. I miss you so much. You impacted in me a great deal of knowledge in a space of about four months. You took care of me like your own...

I knew Ray Huttel while I went to west coast university. I was really having a hard time getting through nursing school and she was always there to support me and show me ways how to study to do really well. With her support I was able to graduate with honors. She really cares about all her students and really will do anything to help them succeed. Thank you so much for helping me and being there for me. I will always remember you. You will be missed.

It is with great sorrow that I have learned of the passing of Dr, Ray Huttel. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Dr. Huttel. She was the Dean of students at West Coast University, North Hollywood, where she help guide me as a nursing student. She was an amazing student advocate and a wealth of nursing knowledge that every nurse at the college appreciated. I spent many days as a student picking Dr. Huttel's brain. She always made time for me and all the other students when it came...

Sadness filled my heart when I heard about the passing of Dr. Huttel. I can only imagine how difficult this time must be for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Dr. Huttel exemplified the meaning of dedication. She was always committed to what she believed in and encouraged her students to do the same. She will do anything to help anyone in need. For example, she sacrificed her time by driving from Lubbock to help the Abilene nursing class of 2012 learn all about Community....

I had the priviledge of being one of Dr. Huttel's students, however short of a time it was, I know my nursing experience was better with her there. You will be forever missed by the 2012 Nursing Graduates from Texas Tech!!
