Ray Kittelson

Kittelson, Ray, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at the age of 78 after a year and a half courageous battle against mantle cell lymphoma. Devoted husband of 57 years to Sarah K. Kittelson (nee: Minor); dear son of the late Simon and the late Caroline Kittelson; loving father of Ray Kittelson, Jr., Robert Kittelson and Jeff (Sharon) Kittelson; treasured grandfather of 11; nieces, nephews, and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother, Elmer, and his sister, Selma. Ray was an Engineer at McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis, Missouri, for 37 years. He was a master gardener who enjoyed fishing, traveling, collecting pigs, baseball, entertaining, and socializing. Ray supported Wings of Hope and is a U.S. Navy Veteran of 4 years. A special thanks to the oncology nurses at St. John Mercy Hospital, and especially Jill, for their loving care and support.
