Dear Carol, Katie and family,
Our hearts are crying with yours. We know too well the feelings of unbearable loss as we continue to work through losing our Ryan unexpectedly last year. We have come to realize that, while we will never get over the loss of those we love, we will get through it, with the love and support of family and friends. We share many happy memories of your family and Ray's always cheerful hello during those gentle years of Happy Days Preschool and Young Fives. May...

Carol, and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It is wonderful for me to remember you as a couple, both with big beautiful smiles.
May Gods grace and mercy be with you in your time of grief.

blessings, and prayers,
Carrie Chamberlin Schwartz

My deepest regards to Carol and the Family. I remember Ray as a kind and generous personality from my days at CMU and my association with him at Zeta Rho/Sigma Chi and ROTC. I have just returned from a two week trip to Florida in support of my aging Mother (98). I will remember the positive influence and caring that Ray provided the people he new.

Carol, my mom (Barb Olinghouse) sent me the news about Ray. Your family is in my very early school memories. I will keep your family in my prayers. From a former kindergarten student,

Dear Carol and family-
Pete and I want to express our very deepest sympathies to all of you!! Ray was an exemplary educator and an even better person. I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to work with him. Ray's fondness and dedication to our "special" population of students as well as his warm and caring personality have left an indelible mark on all of us. An unexpected trip out of state prevented us from offering our condolences in person but know that you have been and...

"I am a moth who just wants to share your light." (Thom Yorke) May we ALL learn something from both your death and your life, so you haven't died in vain. So we can become better people and make a difference in this world while WE still have the time, and start to heal this world once again. Thank you Ray for being such a universal role model to all of us. Your integrity and endless well of love that was so important to you in life is now paying off in your tradgic death. Rest in peace and...
