Ray A. "Tony" Monsivais, Sr. was born in French Camp, CA and passed away on February 16, 2008. Ray had been a truck driver for 20 years and lived in Stockton all his life. He enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley and spending time with his family.
He was the loving husband of Elizabeth Monsivais and proud father of Ray A. Monsivais, Jr. Dear son of Dora and the late Raymond Monsivais. He is survived by his siblings, Daniel, Rene and Johnny Monsivais, Virginia Corralejo, Henrietta Swift, Priscilla and Margaret Flores, Lorine Hernandez and the late Rachel Hardy and Carlos Comona. Godfather of Gabriel A. Corralejo, Juan M. Hernandez, Jr. and Daniel Monsivais, Jr. Devoted uncle of Lisa Corralejo, Michelle Sanders, Leticia Almendarez, Eva Hernandez, Alicia Lopez, Monique Kostic and many great nieces and nephews. Confidant of John Almendarez and Teresa Murphy. He will be truly missed by all who were fortunate enough to share his life.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 21, 2008, 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at Wallace-Martin Funeral Home. Funeral Services are Friday, 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Committal: Stockton Rural Cemetery.
