Ray A. "Blue" Montet, 81, a native of Henry and resident of Luling passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville on Thursday, July 27th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 ½ years, Sybil A. Matherne Montet; son, Mark J. Montet (Athene "Suki"); daughter, Rachel M. Eusea; sister, Catherine Montet; grandchildren, Kandi Williams (Greg), Jennifer Foster (Chris), Jeremy Eusea (Cortney), Jared Eusea (Melanie), Jamie Lynn Montet (Jason), Ashley Eusea and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Exalton and Lulia Arpin Montet; sister, Pearly M. Mine. Ray worked for the Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries as a Game Warden and retired as Colonial over the Enforcement division. He loved fishing, hunting, painting and spending time with his children and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please make donations for masses. Falgout Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.

I just found out about Ray Alvin's passing and am so saddened. You are all in my thoughts and prayers! I loved and admired my cousin so much. I'm sorry I was not there to pay my respects. May he Rest In Peace...❤❤❤
