Not sure what to say?

One morning, when I was in my early teens, Uncle Ray was with us at the family cabin in NW Iowa and he had brought his ski boat too. The prior evening, we had bad rainstorms and as we were all waking up, grumbling about the weather, Uncle Ray had already started the coffee and breakfast preps in his usual easy going way. I was content to sit by the fireplace after breakfast, but Ray said he had some things to do down on the dock. My brothers and I followed Uncle Ray to the top of the dock...

Our sympathy and prayers, Margaret! Ray was someone I could share a beer with and solve the world's problems. Somewhat like a surrogate dad. He is missed!! Great neighbor!

I didn´t have the opportunity to meet Ray Nelle, but I have the privilege of knowing his wife, Margaret Nelle...in that, knowing of the enduring love they shared and lasting memories they made along the way. Beautiful remembrances, always.

Margaret, My thoughts and Healing Energies are with you today as you reflect on so many memories. My Best to you. Regards...Beth Furlong

I did not know Ray well but he was the spouse of my very dear friend Margaret who loved him very much so I know he was a wonderful & good man.

Dad, I can't believe it has been 10 years since you left us. I still think of you and miss you daily. We should have had more years, but I guess that teaches us to cherish each day.

HE LOVED THE EARTH BUT COULD NOT STAY.

My Uncle Ray was the best uncle a guy could ask for. Smart, cool calm and a great sense of humor. He could fix anything.
He is definitely missed every day.

Fran, peggy, barb, I'm so sorry for your loss. Judy stopped by and told me. It's been along time. I pray God dries your tears and assures you your Dad is in God's gentle hands. Bless you all. I'll keep you in my prayers Deanna Weaver Kochen miss you guys
