Dear Petersons,
You are all an inspiration to us for your strength and faith. I hope your memories will be able to carry you through the hard times.
My favorite memories of Ray Dean are first, his bright yellow truck and second, driving up to The Place and pulling up next to him driving the van...Jon and Ray Dean both held up to the window their matching speeding tickets ....and then we all had a good laugh.
I love you all!

Memories of "Little Chicago" in Spanish Fork will never fade. I express my heartfelt love for the family. I am sad to hear that Ray Dean died of a similar cancer that Dad died of back in '65. I shall never forget all of the projects and help Dad/Grandpa Lyman did for my mother, Blanche. He is a prime example of loving & serving his fellow man. My love goes out to all of the family. Please give him this note. Love, Garth Reid

Patty and Jesse told me about the loss of your dear husband. I extend my sympathy to you and your family. He was such a nice man and seemed to love his family so much. I know the few times I met him at Hawkes family gatherings he was so friendly and caring. I know he is the reason that Patty and Jesse are married because of his scout camp experience and my nephew Cregg working there. May the Lord comfort and give you peace in this time of sorrow.
