Not sure what to say?

Was the best coach I ever had. I have such fond memories of long grueling tournaments playing 4-5 games a day. I loved every minute of it. He was a mentor and a part of many milestones. I think of him often. Prayers to the family.

Jackie. I want to express my sympathy. I remember that Ray had many years of suffering and I'm glad that is over for him. I knew of his softball legacy but had no idea of his involvement designing the beautiful landscaping at the Ford Museum. Praying for you as you grieve your loss. Love you.

My sympathy to Jackie and the family. I met you at exercise class at Geo. Sr. Center. I am sharing the obituary with Jean (98) and Mary (91) who also remember you and Ray and are saddened also for you. How wonderful that he left behind so many beautiful things by the Ford Museum and other places. May God give you comfort. Come see us sometime at our new center.

My deepest condolences to Jeff and all of your family members. Ray was a great friend, classmate, and teammate to so many of us while at Godwin. He was intelligent, friendly, funny, helpful, and very competitive in an admirable way (I recall a gym class scuffle that he and I got into). We haven't had contact for many years but, it's obvious from his obituary that he achieved his full potential personally and professionally in spite of significant health challenges. He is another classmate...

Very sorry to hear about Ray, Jackie. Our thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

So sorry to hear of your loss in the passing of Ray. We have many memories of him as he coached the girls in pitching and playing softball, and he did so willingly. He never expected anything in return, but we so loved the little smirk he gave when it was a "win" for the team.

Thank you, Ray, for all the good times we had in softball. Your willingness to put in hours of helping the girls with various skills in playing softball never went unnoticed. You did so expecting nothing, but that little smirk on your face after a "WIN' said it all.

Jackie and family, I was so saddened to read Ray's obituary in today paper. What an outstanding man who gave so much to others. I think of all the lives he touched and am in awe. Jackie, hugs and love to you at this difficult time. Know you are in the hearts of many, especially Bob and I.
