Mr. Takata was a kind man. I knew him through my father, Jack Nopp, who was also a business partner with Mr. Takata many years ago. I enjoyed the small introductions to a different viewpoint that Mr. Takata brought to our lives.

Although, I havn't been in touch with Ray for many years, I considered him a good friend and a great Architect. I built many of his projects.

Ray has been a good friend since our days at Cal Poly. Ray bought me lunch in Sacramento just a couple of years ago. While at school we drove together to a Scarab convention in Nebraska; we had a wonderful trip.
