Not sure what to say?

Dr. Tipsword was one of my many professors at VT on my way
to my PhD in Physics there.

He was always a gentleman, and
a very helpful professor
to a young student like myself.
He will be greatly missed.

Dear Betty, Steve, Pam and Mel,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Your husband and father will be missed by many here in Gordonsville.

Dear Betty, Pam and Tip,
We were so encouraged about his progress with the surgery and recovery. We are so saddened to hear the news about Ray. Alan and I have you all in our thoughts and prayers. Ray always brought a bright spot to our Fourth of July picnic whether he was playing cards, checking out the changes or discussing tractors. Our love, Denise and Alan

Dear Tipsword family:

Uwe C. Tauber and family (Physics Dept., Virginia Tech)

Dear Betsy and family,

I hope that, in time, all the memories of Ray will help lessen the loss. I can recall many of his kind acts working with students during the 17 years we worked in the same department.
My condolences to all of you.

Chris (Pirie) Thomas

PAM AND FAMILY,
YOU ARE IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.
