Thank you to the VFW Skyway Post 9430 for honoring my father's memory and to the Women's Auxiliary for the wonderful food and support. - Amy Wakeman-Swenson

You will always be in our hearts. Amy, Steve, & Rae Jean

with love forever. your family.

I Love You Daddy, I will miss you terribly. You will forever be in our hearts! My sons will carry your name proudly all of there lives!
Your daughter, Rae Jean Wakeman Grandsons, Evan Gene Wakeman, Brian Gene Wakeman,& Blake Eugene Blanchard.

While growing up I have many memories of my cousin Ray Gene. In fact because of him and his brother David I had always wanted to join the Air Force. Ended up in the Army. My wife and I send you our deepest sympathies.

Ray was my big brother. I thought him to be so handsome and brave. He will be missed. His funeral was wonderful. Amy did a wonderful job and it was great to see her family. I wish them well. Thanks to all who came and to the VFW for doing such a fine job.

I will miss my Uncle Ray who always gave me a big hug! I'm thinking of you Aunt Sue and my cousins, especially Amy. I love you.

YOU WILL BE MISSED BUT NEVER

FORGOTTEN BY ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS

AT THE VFW POST 9430 SKYWAY

I had the honor of serving as Ray's physician for 9 years. Beneath that hard exterior is an honest, sincere, and caring man who was extremely proud of his family. I will miss him dearly.
