Me and Ray used to message each other on a military forum before we both joined the service.
I was just browsing through those old messages, seeing the old thoughts and aspirations he had before he joined; and I can't help but be reminded of how horrible it is that this happened to him.
He was an absolute stud, and a great human being.
I'll keep a memory of you bro.

Brother, I miss you. I wish you where here. It is rare these days to find young men of your caliber in todays world. You always showed manner and respect as a young man. Your enthusiasm, big heart, and infectious smile always reminded me why I am a Marine. You where taken to soon, but my friend, you had a better Duty Station to be at. I miss you Ray and I love you brother.
