Raymond J. Acevedo

ACEVEDO, RAYMOND J., 52, - of Mullica Township, formerly of Brooklyn, NY passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2008, surrounded by his beloved family. Raymond served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was a former 20 year employee for the City of Egg Harbor. He was a true movie buff, loved music, the NY GIANTS, and helping others any way he could. He was predeceased by his special father-in-law Juan Molina, grandmother Ernesta Baez, father Ramon Acevedo and granddaughter Aliyonna. Raymond is survived by his wife and best friend Zoraida of 37 years, two daughters Melissa (Kendell) and Evelyn (JB), three grandsons Javie, Gabe and Aiden; his mother Blanca Acevedo, brothers Alberto, Raul (Yvette), Edwin (Lisa), special sister-in-law Alice and a host of nieces and nephews. He was especially fond of his "Suegra" (mother-in-law) Maria Molina who he considered as a mother, his "sisters"-in-law Ileana (Angie) Bermudez and Nereida (Patrick) Weisback. A mass in his honor will be celebrated at St. Nicholas church in Egg Harbor City on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 2:00 PM family and friends will meet at 1:30 PM.
