Not sure what to say?

May God's promise found in John 6:40, of the hope to see our loved ones again, comfort your heart and give you peace, strength, and hope in the days ahead.

To say that Ray was one of the most memorable people I have ever met would be an understatement. He was an amazing teacher and mentor. Needless to say, I was fortunate to have had him as a teacher and a friend. I was very sorry to hear of his passing and also saddened to hear about his longterm illness. My family has lost someone in the same manner so I know how hard it must have been for you all. Rest in peace Ray. Heaven got one of the last of the real true cowboys and he was a great one....

Linda and Family, our thoughts and prayers go out to you. He had a long battle. We will still be in Arizona when the services are but know our hearts will be with you Gene and Vickie

Linda & family, so very sorry to have lost Ray, he was one of a kind. Sure enjoyed knowing & visiting with him. He surely will b missed. We´re thinking of you guys

Dearest Linda and his darling children, grand children and the many who will miss the great Mr. Ray my deepest condolences. I have always missed all of you. I have always regretted leaving excepting it did give up a sober man! Again my deepest sympathy. Rhonda Griebel my love to you all.

HE TRULY HELPED MY SON THROUGH COLLEGE AND I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN HE GRACED US WITH HIS PRESENCE ON OUR RANCH. A GREAT TEACHER!

I never knew Ray nor, in fact, had ever heard of him. We just didn't ride the same herd. And it was just my curiosity about the unusual (and excellent) cowboy photo in the obit that led me to read about him. What an inspiring story. What a marvelous legacy. Ray's one of those who really rode off into the sunset. I wish I had known Ray.
