I was saddened to hear of Ray's death. I just noticed his obituary in the Delaware County Shopper. I met Ray when I did some printing work for him. I remember him as a very nice man, very easy going and loved to visit. He always took time to say hi to me when he saw me. I remember dropping off a rubber stamp to him at his house and the number of hummingbird feeders he had around the house. I've never seen so many hummingbirds before. It was something I won't forget. I had the opportunity to get to know Ray after he had retired to Bovina from my years working at Delhi Motors. I thought of him both as a customer and as a friend. My thoughts go out to his family.
