Your great grandchild Oakland Ashmore

LeeFran and family, Pop was a wonderful man. I loved him, but then again I think all who knew him did. I have so many fond memories of him at LFD Christmas parties, coming to the FAB just to talk the list goes on and on. Hold on to the wonderful memories, he will always be in our hearts.

Uncle ray has a special memory in my heart that I will never forget when he helped me with picking out my first truck at his dealership he worked at. He will be missed dearly. But will meet again. Love you uncle Raymond

Grandpa,
I wish I could of seen you one last time before the Lord called on you. I will miss you very much but take comfort in knowing that you are with the Lord now. I'm not sure what the Astros will do without their number one fan, but know that I will miss talking to you about them. I wish you would of been able to meet Jerod and my son, but they will hear all about you when they are older. I love you so much Grandpa and know that you are looking down on us from Heaven...

Grandpa Ray,
You were such a loving, caring, funny man. I will miss the times we shared at Jerod and I's wedding, and especially at the ranch (when you kept telling everyone I caught the biggest fish). That day brings tears to my eyes, but also brings me joy! I will miss you, and will see you again someday. I love you!

Brittany Ashmore

My Uncle, lifelong memories is the legacy he left behind. Gave me my first football helmet and uniform, taught me the essentials of the game, of course it helped watching Jerry play too! Those memories have helped me try to leave some unforgettable times with my children when I became a father. Condolences to all of the family, he will be missed by all. I bet he and Harold Sr. are discussing the finer points of Cadillacs right now.
Your nephew, Harold Jr.

Grandpa Ray,
The Lord received an entertaining companion when you went to be with him this past Saturday. You were a class act that can never be duplicated. You served our country proud during WWII in many combat battles and fought long and hard for a justifiable cause. You had a great sense of humor and loved your family. I will miss our days at the ranch in Leona, TX. I will miss playing cards with you and making you laugh. I will miss singing with you around the campfire and going...

To My Loving Dad,

My tears easily flow when I realize we will never speak or hug again in this world. I know you loved me dearly and I also loved you deeply. I am so glad we both have the Holy Spirit that You called on many times in your life and that I now lean on to help dry the tears and bring a smile to my face that I know you would want me and all who loved you to have. You now sing with the Angels in Heaven the way you sung by the campfire and at your churchs. I look forward...

Grandpa Ray,
The Lord received an entertaining companion when you went to be with him this past Saturday. You were such a pleasure to be around and joke around with. You were a class act that can never be duplicated. You served our country in WWII and fought long and hard over in Europe. You were a great man. I will miss our days at the ranch and your phone calls to our office. I will miss playing gin with you and making you laugh. I will miss singing with you around the campfire and...
