Not sure what to say?

Raymond Badger was my neighbor. I grew up with his son . I was welcomed at their home whenever I wanted to visit. I used to enjoy his vegetables from the garden up on the hill. His wife Dorothy was like a mother to me. She shared her flower bulbs with me and I still have them growing in my yard. Please accept the condolences of another Colchester Submariner. I'm terribly sorry for your loss.

To Raymond's family,
I did not personally know your loved one but being a twice qualified submariner, and Life Member of Groton Base, USSVI, I know of his caliber and moral fiber. Be comforted by the fact that submariners go DEEP into Heaven, and we will meet him there one day. God Bless you as you grieve for him, from Ruth Ann and I.

To the family of Raymond L. Badger,

I am the Base Commander for U.S. SUBMARINE VETERANS Groton Base where Raymond was a member of our group, and a member of the prestigious HOLLAND CLUB.

On behalf of all of us at U.S. SUBMARINE VETERANS INC. Groton Base our sincere condolences on your loss.

Raymond was very proud of his Submarine Service and of his contributions to our country as indicated by his membership in our organization.

When my children were young I put on a bike-a-thon for St. Judes Childrens Hospital. He came along and was one of the bicycle rider greeters and watchers. When I needed to talk with someone about my...
