Ray was one of the nicest people I worked with at LBJ Hospital. I was truly saddened to find out about his passing. My condolences and prayers to his family and all of his loved ones who are heart is aching. God bless all!!

To all of us that have lost our love one,Ray----We have a long road of recovery that we must now travel,Ray touched all of our lives with welcoming arms,his friendly attitude and lovely smile would make you feel so special to be part of his company.
When going to his house,it was a place you weren't quite never ready to leave.Great food,fun,music,dance,conversation and a place of meet and greet!!

"We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord". I will miss Ray so much. I will miss our conversations and of course the meals, but most of all; I will miss his political post. Ray was such a passionate and well versed man. The last thing he said to me a few weeks ago was I love you. Well, back at you guy. To the Barker Family and especially Jada, I am praying for your strength and peace. Until we meet again Ray, I love you.

Ray was a wonderful, kindhearted, caring, nice, sincere, sweet guy. I met him at a GMWA convention in Washington D.C. back in the 90's. I am so blessed I met such a gracious person as Ray. He was in my city, L.A. in May of 2018.
I picked him up and took him to my church, then we had dinner at my mother's home. Ray loved the Lord, and had no problem praising him in a dance! I am truly going to miss him! My prayers are with his family. Ray is finally at peace, safe in the arms of...
