Not sure what to say?

Susan so sorry for your loss. We never got to meet but he did speak of you last time I saw him a few Christmas's back. Ray was my "step father", though after my Mom passed we only kept in brief contact until I re-married myself, then he married Pat and I had another child. They used to baby sit for us, then when my then husband passed, I lost touch with many. Last summer I had tried to reach him to let him know Christopher now has three daughters. I only heard about this today but had I...

Ray, miss you and love you my brother ,Tony Brown indialantic Florida

Ray and I worked together for many years and how we survived the crazy things that we did is a mystery to me. Throughout the years we were always in touch and all I can say is a truly super friend is lost to us on this earth but Heaven has gained a warm and funny man. All the best my friend.

Ray and I have known each other since kindergarten. We remained classmates for eight years at St. Francis of Assisi. Because we only lived two streets from each other, we spent much of our time together. We had afternoon paper routes at the same time. My route was on E. 77th. Street and Ray's route was on E....

Thoughts and prayers to the Bednar family. Ray was a classmate of my brother, Mike Akiya, and my husband Dennis Vaughn.

So sorry to hear about Ray. I just saw him this summer at the Shaw mini reunion and he looked good. He was on oxygen but still held his own. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the "Celebration of Life" for him. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers - what a great guy!!

Ray was a friend who shared with his friends.
we met in 1956 when i moved to cleveland from pa.
i was scared to death and on the first day of classes Ray took my hand and guided me thru the drill.
i never forgot this kindness.
this event sums up Rays life.
we were altar boys together from 56-1960.
my condolences to Susan.

Ray fought a hard health battle. I don't know many people with that strength. My brother Jim was a friend also. I called and told him about Ray and he was very upset. Ray would visit Jim when Ray was in Florida for the winter. Those visits meant a lot to Jim. He was always kind!
I met his fiancée at the last reunion. My condolences to her and any other family members.
