Raymond Carl Beech

BEECH, Raymond Carl - In loving memory of, resident of Flint Township, age 72, died Monday, February 17, 2003 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral sevice will be held at 11AM Thursday, February 20, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Ernest E. Davis officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park with a military graveside service under the auspices of Davison VFW Post #4087 Honor Guard. Visitation 5- 8PM Tuesday and 9AM-8PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Beech was born in Flint, Michigan on October 28, 1930. He married Mona E. Tobias on April 24, 1954 in Flint. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Davison VFW Post #4087. Mr. Beech was employed by Buick Motor Division and was a member of UAW Local #599. Surviving are wife, Mona; 3 sons, Raymond, Jr. and wife Karen Beech of Flint, Carl Brink, Jr. of Flint and David Brink of Geneseeville; daughter, Carlette and husband David Joseph of Mt. Morris; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Patterson of Flint; brother, Johnny Gilbert of Flint; many nieces, nephews and loved ones. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard and wife Dot; 2 daughters, Raemona and Linda.
