I will never forget you, Ray.

Ray Berg was one of the most remarkable, extraordinary, talented, modest, kindest person I have ever met. I will never ever forget him. He has been nominated into the Balboa Hall of Merit, and a posthumous award will be given next Spring. Date and details to be announced to family and friends.

Ray Berg was one of the most remarkable living beings that I have ever met and known. So handsome, so kind, so talented, so modest. He was my friend at Balboa High School.
Along with being the president of the California Scholarship Federation, and our Honor Society, He was active in sports (Track and Soccer) and loved boogie on the piano. In my opinion he proved himself to be a
" Renaissance man". His accomplishments after high school are astounding. How did he ever do so much...

On this day I am filled with sadness -- yet there is a 'gladness' here, too. You see, I am so glad that I went to Balboa High School and knew Ray Berg. I knew him to be a handsome lad, then man, an extremely intelligent talented lad/then man, a person who loved to laugh and see the bright side of life. He never forgot his friends.
