Not sure what to say?

Ray was a friend to gymnastics in th Upstate area. He was a dedicated coach to many young athletes and instilled in them respect for their family, and community. He displayed joy in all aspects of coaching, from teaching beginners to honing the skills of his varsity gymnasts. My condolances to Marianne and the boys. Your love and respect for Ray was admired by me and others. May Goc bless you all in this time of loss and mourning. Wayne Suddaby

I extend my heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Berman and her family. I was a member of coach Ray´s first two gymnastics teams when auburn high school first opened at its current location. I was also a teammate of Rick Tamburrino 1970- 72. Rick´s earlier posted words were exactly how our team felt about coach Ray. Thru perseverance and a lot of encouragement, coach Ray forged a team from a group of young men most of us having little or...

Ray was my gymnastics coach at Auburn High. He was respected and admired by the whole team. Ray was a great coach and role model. My condolences to his family. Rick Tamburrino, Auburn.

I´m so very sorry for your family´s loss!! What a beautiful obituary to honor him. I had Mr. B as a gym teacher in middle school then also seen and talked to him at DelLago several times. He remembered me as well(probably because I was naughty, not that bad.) Again so very sorry!! May he rest in heavenly peace!!

Marianne, sorry to hear about the passing of Ray. Our thoughts are with you and your family. Cindy Emmi Lattimore

My sincere condolences. Coach Berman had a lasting impact on my life. He introduced me to the sport of gymnastics and, more importantly, believed in me at a time when that belief mattered so much. Through his patience, guidance, and encouragement, I gained strength, confidence, and a sense of purpose. He helped me see what I was capable of, both in the gym and beyond it. Being part of the team he led was something special. Coach Berman created an environment where we pushed ourselves,...

My sincere condolences to his wife, children and family. Mr. Berman was a very nice man and inspiration to so many students. I extend my condolences to his many friends and colleagues of the Auburn Enlarged School District. RIP

Marianne and family, My sons and I are saddened by this loss. We were roommates many years ago and developed a warm friendship over the years as you know.. He had a gift for conversation and I will miss that. He was nearly always right on point. God has blessed you by being a part of his life. RIP Ray

Condolences to Marianne and Ray's family. Ray was a pleasure to be with, I have fond memories of late nights at the Hobo dinners at the old American Legion on Genesee St. Ray will be missed by everyone who had the good fortune to have crossed his path.
