Raymond DeWayne Bilbrey

Funeral services for Raymond DeWayne Bilbrey, age 51, of Cookeville will be held on Friday October 22, 2021 at 12:00pm from the chapel of Whitson Funeral home. Bro. Mike Womack will officiate at the services,  Pallbearers will be, Aaron and Seth Augustson, Chris Heinkel, Jackie Hickey, Jerry "Shag" Davis, Mike Bentley and Barry Roberson. The burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

The family will receive friends, at the Funeral Home, on Thursday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and Friday from 10:00am until time of services at 12:00pm.

Raymond “Dewayne” Bilbrey was born on July 12, 1970 in Putnam County TN to Raymond and Barbara Gore Bilbrey. He passed away on October 17, 2021 at his home.

DeWayne was an electrician for Lakeland Electric. He loved Hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. DeWayne was also very proud of receiving his black belt in Kenpo/Kempo and also in Aikido

DeWayne was preceded in death by, Grandparents, Albert and Opal Bilbrey and also Clara and Mavin Gore, several special Aunts and Uncles

 DeWayne is survived by, Parents, Raymond and Barbara Bilbrey, Long time partner of 31 years,  Shonda Smith, son, Dylan Bilbrey, daughter, Cayla Smith, grandchild, Micah Sherrer, sister, Shannon Bilbrey Augustson. He is also survived by 2 nephews, Aaron and Seth Augustson.
