Not sure what to say?

Papa was a man who used his hands. His hands could do anything. They could defend our country. They could cultivate the earth. They could fill a bucket with milk. They could clasp in prayer. They could sooth sorrow. They could raise children.

There was nothing those hands couldn't do, and what they did, they did well.

My love goes out to everything his hands touched, may we all be so blessed as to have lives as rich as his.

Dear Ray, Tim and families,
I am sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. I will always remember going to your house to buy sweet corn from your farm with my family (Alfred, Lyle, et al). Your Dad was always friendly, inviting and a lot of fun to be around. He was a classic Vermonter, in every sense. We always enjoyed going to your house for a visit. We spent time together as we grew up and then went our separate ways, all the while remembering that these were people that helped shape...

He was a wonderful man with a lot of wisdom and a heart of gold. My favorite time with him was eating breakfast every morning when I was a little girl. He will always be in my thoughts and my heart. I love you grandpapa.

I'm so sorry I wasn't able to be at the funeral or the wake. I was away and only learned of his passing at Mass on 12/7.

He was a warm, wonderful, funny man whom I loved. I have many wonderful memories of spending time on the farm with Bebs and the family as an adolescent and teenager. I loved being in the midst of so much love and humor whenever I was with them.

My prayers go out for his peaceful repose and for the needs of his wonderful family.

I will always have warm and wonderful memories of Ray Sr. My prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

Mrs. Bisson, Ray and Linda, Tim and Sharon, Peter and Deb ~ growing up on Bailey Street I will never forget the times I spent at your farm where I always felt welcomed and was taught about cows and picking corn, and about not smoking near the barn!!!!! Every association with your family has brought me blessing. Ray's sister, Corrine, even touched my life in a powerful way when she and Paul explained the gospel to me and gave me my first bible.
Your dad was a great man; a fine example...

So loving, so wise,so helpful, so empathetic, so humorous, so dad-like to me so missed. Mrs. kay and children, I have loved that man and all of you since we first met . Can hardly wait to see him again. I am heart tied. God bless you all ! all my love and prayers , big Bob Du

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May the years of wonderful memories keep your Dad close.

"The fact that I can plant a seed and it becomes a flower, share a bit of knowledge and it becomes another's, smile at someone and receive a smile in return, are to me continual spiritual exercises." -Leo Buscaglia

We will forever remember the things that Papa shared with us - who he was, what he did, and the roots that he planted, from which we thrive and blossom. His spirit will live on eternally in the memory and hearts of all he touched.

Although we can't be there in...
