Raymond Bowen Obituary

Raymond Morris Bowen, Jr. died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, the 20th of May 2012, in Hunt, Texas. He was enjoying a wonderful weekend with his wife and friends in his favorite place in the world, the Texas Hill Country.
A more detailed and specific obituary was published in Wednesday's edition, and remains accessible via the internet.
The memorial service is to be conducted at noon on Saturday, the 26th of May, at The Church of St. John the Divine, 2450 River Oaks Boulevard in Houston, where both the Rev. Dr. Laurens A. Hall, Senior Rector, and the Rev. Dr. Douglas W. Richnow, Senior Associate Rector, are to officiate. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception to be held in the adjacent Sumners Hall.
Prior to the memorial service, the family will have gathered for a private graveside service at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions in Ray's memory may be directed to Rice University Resource Development, MS81, P.O. Box 1892, Houston, TX, 77251-1892; or to the charity of one's choice.
