Not sure what to say?

Gwen, my sincere condolences to you and the Bowles family for the loss of a great person.

Men like "R.W. Bowles" never leave us; his footprint will last forever. Anyone who knew him can recount a personal conversation (or many) that made a difference in their lives... I am one of those people and consider myself fortunate to have known him. Direct and hilarious as he was, you never had to guess what was on his mind! Rest Ray, and even as I type this, you bring a smile to my face.

Gwen, my thoughts and prayers are with you and Ray's family. "Mr Bolwes" was a good and caring person. I always thought the world of him

My sincere condolences to Gwen, and the entire family. Ray Bowles was a unique and wonderful man. He truly cared about people. I will never forget watching him pace in his office in Shreveport searching for an alternate to having to layoff some of his employees. No one was a number with Ray, he believed in everyone. Everytime we parted ways, he would say, "I almost enjoyed seeing you!" He was always so funny and so happy. May your gentle sole rest in peace, Mr. Bowles. I am a better...

My condolences to Gwen & to the rest of Ray's family. Ray promoted me to Group Manager-Directory Assistance (1972) in New Orleans. I enjoyed working for him. He spoke his mind & he loved to kid with us! I still remember him telling us that a monkey could do our job when I worked for him in the Force Group. He was truly an unforgettable man! May he rest in peace!

Gwen, my thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Gerry, Bob, Jackie, Lennie:
My condolences.

He was the best Boss I've ever worked for, what a friend Mr. Bowles was to the Operators. You'll be missed Ray B.
