Ray and I met in our Junior year in High School and often had lunch together in both our Junior and Senior years. He had a great sense of humor and we had so many interesting discussions. What I remember most about Ray was his concern and compassion for everyone he knew based on his strong faith. And also his lighthearted then favorite expression..."Don't Take Any Wooden Nickels!" Condolences to his family, friends and of course our classmates at Johnstown High School. RIP

Was very glad to be able to meet up with Ray a few years ago for lunch in Rutledge Georgia. Ray picked the spot and we renewed old times. R.I.P. Ray and prayers for. the family.

Friends from JHS class of 1966 extends our deepest sympathy to all! God Bless! Rest in peace dear Dave! With Love and sadness, Larry and Ivy Faust.

To live in the Hearts of those you leave Behind is not to die! R.I. P.

Prayers for family as we mourn the passing of Ray. He left his Santa legacy and wonderful sense of humor. So sorry he spent his last years in poor health, but so thankful he made his way to Kentucky for the 2013 Searle Family Reunion.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Rest In Peace my old friend and buddy. We worked together for a short time on 9E at Emory. He was a kind and gracious man. My condolences to his family. Catharine Smith Jones and family
