Not sure what to say?

We were very sad to read of Ray's passing. He was kind and friendly man, and we liked him very much. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to all.

Ray had so many wonderful attributes-his great sense of humor, helpfulness, wisdom, happy disposition, and most of all, integrity.

He was a great storyteller and loved to share his stories with his grandchildren and they loved to listen to him.

Ray had accomplished a great deal during his lifetime, professionally and personally, but he always knew what was most important in life- his family and friends, and always made time for them.

Ray was a special man, and will be...

A good friend, we will miss you. Condolences to the family.

Dear Brian and Family,
We were all saddened to read of the passing of your father. We extend our most heartfelt sympathies to you and all your family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and we know that your fathers memory will live eternally in your heart and mind.

Most sincerely, Nick, and Linda Karafotias. Martha Karafotias.

We are all better human beings for knowing Ray and I am very lucky to have been his daughter-in-law. Ray was one of the smartest men I have ever known. You could ask him a question on any subject and chances are he knew the answer. He was truly an incredible person and he will be missed by all. Thank you Ray for the last 36 years.

We feel so fortunate to have known you Ray. You made such an impact on us in such a short amount of time. Things just aren't the same without you. You are so missed!

Yvonne and I were among those fortunate people who shared some of those 25 years in the SW Portland Lions Club. Ray and Janice were great contributors and two of the nicest people you could ever meet. We think of them almost every day as we live in our little house near the ocean. It was built from the plans that Ray designed for their place at Twin Rocks.

Thank you Ray for your support and friendship, you were a wonderful person to share our lives with.
