Not sure what to say?

Dad,
I've been trying to find a succinct way to sum up my feelings right now. When I drafted the eulogy that Pete read at your mass, I tried to cover many things in a concise way. It was hard going to the nursing home knowing you wouldn't be there with Mom. There's an ache in my heart that won't go away soon, and I still find myself tearing up whenever I think of you. I know you stayed around a lot longer than everyone thought you would; I think it was to look after Mom. I hope you...

It's hard to think of my childhood without reminiscing about the wonderful summers we spent in Massachussetts with our Grammy and Poppa. I've longed missed beachy summers full of fishing and climbing trees, and but not quite as much as I'll miss my Poppa.

Ray
Art and I will miss you so much.We enjoyed our days of visiting with you and listening and sharing our stories of growing up together. We shared some wonderful times. We love you, until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
Love,
Bernice

To the Cooley Family,
We had the pleasure of knowing Ray for many years when he had a seasonal site at Maurice's Campground. He visited with us, shared his stories, and listened to ours. He enjoyed exploring the cape with Peg and his grandchildren. Ray will always be in our thoughts and prayers. Our condolences to the family.

Pete, Sheila & Michael,

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your father. I have had the pleasure of knowing him for 43 years! Hard to belive but so true. Pete, you have shown enormous strength during the past few years. It is never easy dealing with aging parents but you have done this with compassion and absolute determination for finding the best care possible. I am very proud to call you my brother-in-law and friend. Don and I will always be there for you. Much love.

I have alot of fond memories spending time at the Cooley's house during the years I spent with Nancy by beloved friend. I always felt like a member of the family. Mr Cooley was a fine gentlemen!

Pete and Carolyn: It isn't easy on those left behind, when a loved one passes away. But please be consoled that Mr. Cooley lived a long and full life. My thoughts and prayers are with your family . . . always.

A legend amongst us has been passed away. At 8:40 AM on 8/16/08, a great man was taken from us.
He was many things in life, only to be cut down at 95, 4 years, 2 months and 8 days short of making the Smuckers jar. He goes on to join his parents, parents-in-law, brothers, sister, sister-in-law and daughters. He will be missed by one and all.

He was:
A son who was loved by Arthur and Helen.
A son-in-law who was loved by James and Philomena.
A brother who was loved by...

Grandpa ,
Thank you for the love you have given me over the years. Thank you for your knowledge and wisdom. Thank you for being a terrific grandpa. You raised a son who became my father , and whom I admire. You raised him to be a great father to me , and I hope to be as good as a father as he is. I also hope to be a great grandpa like yourself one day. Thank you for all the memories. I miss you. This is not goodbye...it is I'll see you on the other side. I love you.
