Not sure what to say?

Dear Mary, Scott and Anne,
I was so sad to hear of Ray's passing. I was glad to have been able to spend a little time with him at the Steam Up with my dad, Vic, the last couple of years. I really enjoyed his company and it seemed he hadn't changed much in the many years since I'd seen him! My heart goes out to you all - Kathy (Watts) Mayer

Anne,

Thinking of you at this difficult time...you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Peace,

Hi 'Ry , Ann and Scott
I am sorry I missed my old fishing friend's service but am out of town. He was one of the great men in my life. I will always remember his whistle on a Saturday afternoon as he announced his arrival for a beer with Colonel. It also meant we could stop working! He rarely missed a family function and always had a kind word and good joke. I appreciated his point of view and of course was always willing to share it. A faithful husband, proud father and good...

Ray would drop by a couple of Saturdays a month for a beer and a chinwag. I rented a room at Jim Randazzo's house and had several conversations with Ray. Any subject was ok except politics. I served a year in Korea during the mid-seventies and we shared some interesting overseas stories. As per standard, Ray did most of the talking and Jim & I did most of the listening. Shared stories over a few beers and good times. You don't need high tech for the simple pleasures in this short life. I'm...

Hi Anne, sending love your way to you and your family. May God grant you the peace and comfort needed that can only come from Him at this time. Love you my precious friend. Natalie - HR

Ray and I were in the class of '47 at Silverton High School. We shared many friends. He will be missed. My sincere sympathy .

Mary, Anne and Scott: My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have such fond memories when my sister, Dede(Diane) and I babysat the three of you when your folks would go out for the evening. We lost our Dad last May and miss him very much. Hold on to the memories and continue to make many more. Debbie(Gilbert)Shipman

To Scott and family: Wishing you solace and happy memories in a sorrowful time. I remember back in '86 when Ray took Scott and I to dinner in Eugene as we entered our last year of college. Lots of laughter and gratitude for his generosity and wit. He espoused hard work and family, and what he's left behind reflects that. Grateful to have known him. Much love to the Cowans.
