Not sure what to say?

My condolences to Ray’s family and friends. I’m sure he is still in many people’s thoughts.

I just came across Ray’s obituary, and while it has been several years since his passing, I feel it necessary to write a few words. I served with Ray onboard USS Berkeley DDG-15, and I have never forgotten him. My memories of him are of a soft spoken, gentle soul with a well calibrated moral compass. And he was never one to complain or be vindictive, which believe me was definitely not the...

Donna,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband Ray.

How quickly life changes, but our memories are what give us comfort. My best to all -...

Dear Donna, Words cannot express how I feel about your loss. Raymond was a great person and you will always have wonderful memories, I'm sure. I know I will. My thoughts are with you always. Love, Gloria

Donna, I'm so sorry to hear of Ray's passing, I know he will always be a ray of light that shines over the community gardens for all of us.

Ray was a team-mate, mentor and friend, with a quiet, understated style and dry sense of humor. We shared the same interests in technical minutiae, political beliefs and a profound appreciation for life's absurdities. He will be deeply missed.

Dear Donna, There are no words to express, how sorry we are
in the loss of your dear husband Raymond, our thoughts and
prayers, our with you at this very difficult time.
