Not sure what to say?

I was in Mr. Demarta's photography and art class 72-73 at Kenilworth. He was an awesome teacher that cared for his students. I never have forgotten the influence he has made in my life. Condolences to his family and friends.

RIP, Mr. DeMarta

I taught with Ray for 6 years at Kenilworth and became a life long friend. He loved people and if you were invited to his home you were treated royaly. He will be missed by so many. Wendell McCrea-Sebastopol

Of all the teachers I have had in my life few left as lasting of an impact that Mr.DeMarta! Seventh grade art, photography and yearbook were all great classes. I even student taught with him while in my junior year. I still shoot a lot of pictures and credit Mr. DeMarta for the love of photography. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Ray was the only man who called me a pretty broad and took it as a complement.

I, too, had Mr. DeMarta for 7th grade art class. I have always remembered him for his encouragement and kind ways. It is a true testament as a teacher that he is remembered so fondly by so many students. What a wonderful legacy he has left. My sympathies to his family.

I too, am one of Mr. DeMarta's former students. As difficult as junior high was, I found his art class to be a place where I could be myself and enjoy being creative. He was a kind and nurturing educator and will surely be missed by so many whose lives he touched.
My sincerest condolences to Ms. Larsen and the entire DeMarta family.

Sincerely,

Susan (Carr) Collins
