A truly great and generous man, responsible in a big way for building support for Ronald Reagan in 1980 among blue collar workers, trade union members, etc.

Jerry and I had the most beautiful wedding in the world 52 years ago at The Fiddler’s Elbow. Thank you for your many kindnesses. We have thought of you often over the years and I have no doubt Jane and Bob were there to welcome you to Paradise.

Ray was a warm, kind and loyal friend; an inspiring and nurturing boss; and there was no one more loyal or supportive of Ronald Reagan than he. At one point in my life, he treated me like a son, and although we lost touch over the last several years, I always held a loving place in my heart and mind for him, and for Cathy, Kenny and the rest of the family. God bless the Donovan family.

Ray was a great friend and made every day worth living and working with him. Knowing him added wonderful memories at both Schiavone and Fiddlers Elbow. I worked with Ray on some of his charities for which he was most generous. He will be missed.
