Not sure what to say?

A thank you to Mr. Drysdale for his love of teaching and letting others share in that joy. We were students of Mr. Drysdale at his first teaching assignment in Parks, Nebraska, a little community with a big heart.

Ray was key in vast numbers of people finding themselves, finding the ability to enjoy themselves and develop, and co-creating the future of Community.

The last time I saw Mr. Drysdale was at my 50th Class Reunion in 2016. He was always my favorite teacher. He worked in the summer with my dad on the Southern Pacific railroad. Rest in Peace Mr. Drysdale.

Our condolences to Deb and Val and family. So many good memories with Ray at Pleasure Park. A really special man and so loved by all here. The Drysdale Mary was legendary. The Drysdale school reunion was the highlight of summer here for many years. We will miss him.

A bit of Yuma's history has passed into legend with the passing of Ray. All of his hard work, his dedication to our community, and his great stories have enriched our lives.

Whether it was just for a brief moment or a lifetime friendship, Ray Drysdale enhanced the life of everyone he ever came in contact with. Every single one of us. Not a soul can pass leaving a finer legacy than that.

I have kept your memory alive in me these last 48 years by telling others the same jokes and stories I heard from you while I was in your class! The people laugh hysterically at some and groan at others, just like we did. Love ya!
RIP, Mr. Drysdale.

My good friend Ray Drysdale is gone. Memories of Tuesday afternoon discussions about history and his common sense attitude about education remain with me. Lynn Beeler La Brie
