Raymond W. Duncan, of McCalla, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at age 92. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, a member of Canaan Baptist Church, and was retired from TCI after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Lorene Duncan and granddaughter, Nichole Duncan.
Mr. Duncan is survived by two sons, Joe Duncan (Pam) and Tommy Duncan (Kim); a daughter, Judy Folk (Larry); 7 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren, plus one on the way; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 13, 2016, from 10-11 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. The service will follow at 11 AM in the Chapel. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Nichole Duncan to the Music Therapy Gift Fund at Rehabilitation Services SRC 286, 619 19th St. South, Birmingham, AL 35249, Attn: Flo Bryant.

Mr. Duncan always took time to speak to us and offer encouragement. So sorry for your loss but I know we will see him again, in Heaven
