Not sure what to say?

I miss Ray very much and always will. I think of him a lot. I live very close to Belle Clair Speedway and when I drive by quite often it will remind me of a Ray Eby memory. He was one of a kind and I mean that with the highest of compliments. It was an honor to know him and be considered a friend. Miss you old buddy, Mike.

Thinking of you
RIP

Dan,. Gary and I are so very sorry for your loss. Brenda and Gary Lucas

I don't even know where to start. My thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences to Dan, Michael and family. My parents started taking me to the races in Belleville when I was 8 and I picked Ray as my favorite driver. Little did I know we would be lifelong friends. Ray was a fearless driver and I saw him win many races. He had a legion of fans over the years due to his prowess on the track and his outgoing personality and how he dealt and treated people. He had the unique ability that very few...

So sad that you are gone Ray. I remember being at Lake Hill Speedway as a child, and what a fan of yours my Dad was. More recently, my brother, Rick treasured your friendship. Speaking for the Russell family, we all were privileged to know you.
RIP
Deepest sympathy to you, Danny, and to Your family and to Ray's many friends.

I saw what an awesome job he did bringing up his son Dan (my ex-husband) and must say I was extremely impressed. Ray was a very loving and wonderful father always there for Dan, cheering him on, rarely missing a football game or wrestling match. The bond between them was one of the strongest I have ever seen. Ray had so much love in his...

Ray Eby #91

I heard about Ray Eby all of my life because of racing, but just got to meet him while we were rebuilding his '39 Willys a few years ago, #91. When we brought it to the track for the first time, he was like a kid with the best toy ever, as he sat in there and put his hands on the steering wheel to see how it felt. I am honored to say that I knew Ray Eby and heard him tell some of his old racing stories first-hand. He even told me a little bit about driving at Daytona in 1959.
