Not sure what to say?

Great Teacher, of the few dedicated ones who, like in Adrian C. Wilcox HS Jim Hamm and Holly Seidenberg would not let you fail, quit and force you to succeed. He pushed you to succeed. He is remembered, as a student class of 1991 - My brother in arms as I served the US Navy too... "Here is to the Navy and all the good things they stand for.." - Capt Rockwell Torrey, USN (John Wayne - In Harm's Way 1965)

Mr Elwell, inspired me to push my limits in learning. From World History, US History ..and being part of the community. To Dads & Grads, doing pancake breakfasts and being part of the Key Club.
He will be missed ... Class of 1973, Bob Kenoyer

Mr. Elwell was one of my all time favorite teachers. I think of him often. My thoughts and prayers to his family. Truly a gifted teacher.

Mr. Elwell was a great teacher that taught me to love the subject of history and also he was a teacher that my whole family also were students and found him to be one of the best teachers that worked at wilcox high school

Grandpa, I miss you more than words can say. You were not only my grandfather, but my best friend and my father too! You taught me so much about love and forgiveness and about the importance of family! I'll never forget you grandpa and I promise to live everyday in a way that would make you proud of me!

Love forever, your princess... Dana

Mr. Elwell was one of my favorite teachers I had at Wilcox. As a High School teacher now, I take a bit from him into my classroom daily. He was an inspriration. He always treated me with respect, one value that I strive to bring into my own classroom. Rest in Peace and God Bless. Stephanie Pothier-Johnson c/o 1991

To the ELWELL family, sorry for your loss, may GOD give you his love, peace, and strength in this time of sorrow. I want to thank him for serving his country to keep us SAFE AND FREE, he is a HERO to many.
