In 1988, Ray plucked me from Channel 8 in Duluth and created a job for me at Minnesota Power as VIP (video information producer)-- this changed my life and I am forever grateful to Ray. His erudition, love for the English language, and concern for people were his gifts to those of us who knew him. I have missed him since his departure from Minnesota and consider Ray one of the special human beings I have met in my life. Ray Erickson was one of those people one calls "unforgettable."
