I had the privilege of meeting Ray not too long ago (while he was in Apple Valley). The visit included his close and beloved (almost niece-Mary Westover). She always talked to me about Uncle Ray and so wanted me to meet him before it was too late. I took that invitation and am so happy I did so. What a lively, informed, interesting and interested man he was. So many lives have been touched by "Uncle Ray" and I am pleased that my life was one of them.
