GAUDET, Raymond J. "Ray" Of Salem, NH, formerly of Somerville, MA. Passed away unexpectedly in his Acton, Maine home on Friday, August 20, 2021. Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for family and friends. Ray is survived by his beautiful wife Tracy A. (Baddeley) Gaudet; daughter Nicole Connolly and her husband Christopher of Rowley, MA; son Raymond J. Gaudet Jr. and his wife Denise of Hudson, NH; and daughter Kristin Markley of Groton, MA. Ray was an amazing Papa to six grandchildren: Ava, Caden, and Mya Connolly, Audriana, Natalia, and Christina Gaudet. Ray was the dear brother of Donald Gaudet and his wife Jeanne of Boynton Beach, FL; Dianne Ribecca and her husband Joe of Windham, ME; and Paula Copan of Natick. He was the cherished son of the late Joseph "Gil" and Marie V. (Gregoire) Gaudet. A Visitation will be held at the Douglass, Edgerley, and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.,) READING, MA on Thursday, August 26th from 4-7PM. A Prayer Service will be held at 7PM. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ray's memory to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
