Not sure what to say?

Dear Donna,

I am so sorry to hear of your husband's passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

My Dad would have approved of the beautiful and heart warming service his wife and her minister arranged today. It was a very personal memorial service and father would have been pleased to see all the people who attended. In looking over some photos I came across this picture of Dad. It was taken at my brother’s house a few years ago. We will all miss him and love him always.

Donna,

We are so sorry. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,
Bill and Chris

Donna, I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May pleasant memories ease your sorrow. God bless,

My Grandpa Gilbert was someone I looked up to all my life. Over the years growing up I watched and took mental notes as he took pride performing paint and body work on his own cars. Years later I found myself doing the same things I learned from watching him, and asking questions. He always kept his cars in immaculate condition, and I always admired him for that. It's kind of cool knowing that he was such a great race car driver, but I've always wished that I had been old enough to see him...

I grew up 2 doors away from the Gilberts in North Syracuse and have great memories of Ray -he was always alot of fun and a big teaser. He would often let Donna, our other friend and neighbor Margo and I go to the stockcar races on Sat night. It was always exciting to be there as Ray was such a favorite. My heartfelt sympathy to the family .
