Your parents were the people everyone wanted to be like, I remember when my son was hurt at a practice and we didn't own a car way back then and your dad not only picked him up but also took us to the hospital. On a Saturday with all the catch up things we had to do, he gave his time. And all the storms we sat on the front porches to watch, I'm sure he has a front row seat..

I know Ray through Lakewood UMC . His sweet smile, kindness and love for his wife Ruth will always be remembered. I am blessed to have known them both.

Ray was a gentleman's gentleman. He devoted his time, talent, and treasure to a life of service to family, students, colleagues, church, and community. His dedication to the Kiwanis Club set the standard for others to emulate. Ray and Ruth were a match made in Heaven. Ray was admired and respected for his affable nature and positive attitude. Ray will be missed by many, but the world is a better place for his having been here.

Linda, Sue and are thinking about you. Your Dad was always so kind and great to be around. May he rest in peace and be reunited with the love of his life. Jim and Ruth so cherished their friendship. Our prayers are with you and your entire family. John and Sue Singleton.
