He visited often at our home with our parents and atended prayer group meetings with our mother and friends. Father Guidry was a great associate pastor. His sermons always inspired me. He performed the funeral services for my Father. The sermon for the funeral was very touching and memorable. We were very sad to see him leave Holy Ghost. My mother and I visited him once in Galveston. He loved to travel. I know that he has been looking forward to this final journey. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.

To Father Guidry's Family,
Your lost is my lost also. His homilies would capture you,because he always had a story or poem that you would not forget. He would visit with my Dad who was at home alone while I was at school teaching. Thanks Father Guidry for making my Dad's days, Happy Days. When, I would walk in after school, the first thing Daddy would say "Father Guidry came by and we had a long talk." Daddy would not tell me what they talked about though.(Smile). He brought joy to many...
