Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Ray's family and friends during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

Rest in peace my dear friend!!

I remember Mr. Haines from Taft and Harding High School. He was one of my favorite teachers. When I got pregnant in high school, he was the teacher that told me that I still will make something of my life even though I was a young mom. Mr. Haines Jr will be missed. I send my condolences to his family. God has taken home a angel.

Our boys were in baseball together and I helped Ray coach the team. He was a good and dedicated father, and a good role model for all the boys.

Mr. Haines was a wonderful teacher. I remember him while he taught at Taft Middle School. My prayers are with him and his family.

I dated Ray in high school and my husband Stan was a long time childhood friend. When we would see Ray it was like no time had passed. He was kind, smart and funny. The world is a better place because he was here. Our hearts are heavy and our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

So sorry to hear about Ray. While we haven't connected in years, I have fond memories of participating in youth baseball competition, both as a teammate and opponent. He had a fine disposition for sports and life. Prayers to his entire family.

I am so thankful for the 10 years that I was blessed to work with Ray at the Digital Academy. I still laugh when I think of his jokes. I still grow heirloom tomatoes the way he taught me. I'm more politically aware and concerned bc of Ray. I'm more sensible about what things in life are the most important bc of Ray. And I'm braver as I face my health challenges bc of Ray's courage and positive outlook as he faced his health challenges. To a great teacher, thank you, Ray.

I knew Ray at Harding, fond memories. My thoughts are with his family and friends, May your wonderful memories comfort you.
