I knew Ray ( and Millie) from where I used to work. I was always amazed at how active he stayed, still swimming, into his 90's! It was wonderful to listen to his swimming stories; I was able to find an old photo online of his old team at the U of M that I printed out and gave him...and he remembered every person in the photo, every name, and told their story. I remember him as a quiet, kind, and charming man, always worried about his "Millie". My condolences to his family for the loss of this...
